Culture as an access point to sustainability.
Tredje Natur held a keynote speech as the International Culture Panel’s annual seminar, which was focused on culture as a driver for sustainability. As the recipients of the National Art Funds, three year work stipend Tredje Natur is a concrete example of culture and green growth as two sides of the same thing. Based on our motto ‘City+Nature=Fusion”, Partner Flemming Rafn Thomsen explained how the firm’s sky high ambitions are founded in the challenges cities face and about design proposal for Enghave Park, and example where Neoclassical park must be able to manage 26.000 cubic meters of stormwater.

This event was held at the Design Museum of Denmark, Monday, September 1, and is moderated by Jesper Pagh, ph.d. and Editor. Mette Bak Andersen from Copenhagen Forever also gave a keynote speech focusing on the lifecycle of materials in cities and the residents understanding of products and materials around them. Anne Mette Rahbæk, Minister of Culture, will open the event. The participants are ambassadors, general consuls and their employees from around the world, which collaborate with the Ministry of Culture and with the International Culture Panel
